Biography.                                                                                                                                                    

My introduction to photography started over 40 years ago while I was still at school age 13, (wow where did the time go). I had a weekend job at the time and saved up enough money to buy a PRAKTICA SLR Camera, it was completely manual with no built in light meter or auto focus, but this gave me such a good understanding of how everything worked together. I had to learn everything from scratch. This was where my real passion began for this wonderful medium. I did my first paid photography job in my early 20’s. I knew the owner of a local Camera Shop who was a professional Motorsport photographer, he couldn’t make it to an Event at Brands Hatch, so he kindly let me to go in his place, which was an amazing opportunity. Since then I have gained experience doing Weddings, Christenings, Sporting and Corporate Events. I have also given lectures to local Camera Clubs relating to my photographic adventures. My main passion is wildlife and Nature photography, I've travelled all round the World to photograph wildlife. I've been on Safari to Kenya twice, I've also been to India, Yellowstone Park, Finland, Hungary, Scotland to name but a few. I just love the feeling of capturing a single moment in time. I love a challenge to get the ultimate shot.

 

I have a Diploma in Photography and Passed with Distinction.
